Are you contemplating your life right now ? Asking yourself several questions, wondering what course you have to take, overthinking a certain issue in your life…?

The doom scenarios that are popping up in your head. “Maybe I should forget about all this”. “What if it’s too good to be true ?” “What if I really don’t amount that much….?” All these doubts and worries are bringing your moral probably back to ground zero.

The belittling you experienced as a child and the ugly comments you had to listen to when you told people your childhood dreams…

The feeling of being all alone…No one believes in you…even your family and your friends aren’t supportive. You feel you are the black sheep of the family…

You became a champion in giving into your fears, your sadness, your bad luck…!

Know that what others think of you doesn’t matter, only how you react to it matters !

Reacting to all these opinions with a negative emotion is accepting them for real, is agreeing with their opinion and that’s how you keep pushing away or resisting your own happiness !

What you feel to be real will eventually materialize in your world. Not the opinion of others….your opinion matters, your feelings matter, where you focus on matters !

Who are you to tell me something isn’t possible for me ? Only I can do that ! Only I can claim what I will become, only I have that power !

Your imaginary force is yours and yours only. The feelings of your heart are yours and yours only. Don’t give your power away to all this negativity ! Don’t give others the key to your happiness, success, or even your health !  Making you worry, doubt, fear while you yourself are master of your destiny !

Let all these heavy feelings such as resentment, guilt, hate, shame, jealousy,….go ! These feelings are just too heavy for your heart. These are the ones killing your passion !

These feelings are all reactions to an illusion, none of this is real !

When you lift up the burden from your heart, your soul will start speaking to you !

Rejoicing ! Finally you go back to source !

And then passion will pop up again ! Joy will pop up again !

Love will pop out of your heart again !

Sometimes I am censoring myself. I confess I deleted a whole sentence the other day. I thought I was exaggerating, I thought I was too sarcastic…

The news anchor said that more children are going to fitness clubs these days.

Yes, our children do need strong and healthy physical bodies ! Why do all these kids suddenly want to become super healthy…?

It’s not about health at all ! It’s all about “showing-off”. The boys want to show off their six packs and be able to “kick ass”. The girls just want to look like a supermodel or a superstar !

They interviewed a 14-year-old in that fitness club whose idol, whose example is Kim Kardashian. She wants to “look like” Kim Kardashian and have a lot of followers on Instagram…

“We are still far from truth when Kim K’s ass has more followers then the personal page of Nassim Haramein”… That’s the sentence that I deleted…

“Nassim who ?”

“Yes kids keep your FOCUS…”

And cherry on the cake…

Our national soccer federation has chosen the artist Damso to sing the official World Cup song…

Get totally lost in another activity. Cleaning, cooking, fitness, jogging,…Get rid off excessive energy. Run, run, run your lungs out. Punch a pillow.

Precautions have to be taken when driving a vehicle. Traffic can trigger agressive behaviour !

Today is a new canvas you can paint on, leave your dark colors in the drawer, leave your quarrels, arguments and grudges behind. You will feel instant relief from this mess and stress in your head when you don’t cooperate with it anymore. Don’t get pulled into drama all the time !

Create a space of your own where you can withdraw when neccessary. Prepare yourself a nice spot and make it cosy and comfortable. Do a lot of breathing exercices. Try to meditate…If you find meditation useless : Don’t feel bad but seek another calming activity : go for a walk in nature, listen to suiting music, read a book or take a nap !

Find your happy place !

Use your imagination to create a happy place just for yourself. Close your eyes and imagine a place where you are in total peace and harmony. Your happy place can be somewhere on vacation at the beach while you are looking at a sunset, maybe you imagine having 100 puppies around that need cuddling ! You are having a big rave…Or you find yourself having a walking closet with 1000 shoes in it…

Can you feel it ?

Find a cuddle buddy !

Do you have a special friend who can bring you back to your senses in no time ? Now is the time to make that call. Wherever they are or whatever they are doing, trust that they will try to do anything to assist you.

Being able to cuddle someone physically present is the quickest solution and will melt away anger and frustration in seconds. Do not contaminate the other with your toxic words or behavior. Just surrender to the loving feeling…

Between breaths

It’s 9 am and you are sitting at your desk in front of your computer. Are you ready for take off ? Ready to face all challenges ?

The course of your day might depend on how it actually started. Let us rewind for a moment. What were you thinking of before you arrived at your workplace, when you were driving in your car ?

When you were at home, were you arguing with your spouse at the breakfast table ? Were you rushing to get the kids ready for school, were you screaming and shouting or running around like a headless chicken ?

When you heard your alarm going off this morning and you pushed the snooze button, how were you feeling ? Were you anxious to get out of bed, thinking : “All that awaits is another shitty day in the office” ? Well, isn’t that enough stress to start your day with ?

Why don’t you take some time to balance yourself and take control over the course of your day ?

Two key moments of the day is the morning when you wake up, when you open your eyes and the moment before you go to sleep, when you shut your eyes.

The morning is used to determine your vision. While you are still in bed, start by focusing on your breath, inhale slowly and deeply through your nose, exhale gently through your mouth. What do you exactly desire today ? Evoke a mental picture of your ideal day.

Keep breathing at a gentle pace and try to notice the pause beween your breaths, between filling and emptying your lungs.

If you increase this pause without forcing your breathing, your mind will become quieter, and a quiet mind means a powerful mind. You can access a natural state of higher consciousness.

Have you ever looked at a sunset, or a spectacular landscape and felt in awe ? Didn’t you say afterwards : “That moment just took my breath away” ? Didn’t your thinking cease aswell ?

The evening is intended to revise the day. Start to focus on your breath as you did in the morning. Rewind your day to see what has happened. This might be difficult in the beginning, but you’ll make progress very easily ! Once you’ve fully mastered this revision technique, you can put certain moments on hold.

Scenes for example that you would prefer to see differently, more enjoyable, you can start adjusting according to your preference !

Make sure you don’t cling on to fearful situations. Do not go to sleep constantly repeating all the bad stuff that has happened in your life. It’s important that you have a clear image of what you want and a positive feeling should accompany it. If you can’t imagine a positive outcome, you better focus on a positive statement or you can silently chant “OM” or repeat another mantra.

If you feel you are losing control during the day and troublesome emotions are bubbling up, use a breathing technique such as Freeze Frame® or Quick Coherence® developed by the HeartMath institute to bring you back into this balanced state. Always try to visualize a feel good situation, imagine yourself in your happy place just as Happy Gilmore did !

This vision and revision technique will help you “clean up” daily and you will consciously choose to steer your life in the direction you want.

It wil also help you build a pause between stimulus and response, before you react to the external stimuli around you.

Remember today is the first day of the rest of your life. Every day offers you a chance for renewal, every day is a gift !

Life loves you. Give that love back by putting it in yourself first and stop your negative self-talk, your oppressive, restrictive thoughts and focus on the good.

Breathe Motherf*cker !

Whoever has done mindfulness, yoga, meditation or heart coherence exercices knows that instructors and teachers ask to focus on the breath to access that calm, peaceful state and to relax mind and body !

I personnaly use Heartmath’s Emwave pro at home, I already tested it with several adults and children and it works amazingly well. It uses different kinds of vizualisations combined with breathing exercices to achieve heartcoherence.

While I was searching for an article on the internet, I came across an interview with Wim Hof. He is an exceptional guy from the Netherlands. Wim, “the Iceman”, has 21 guiness book records on his name : the longest icebath, finishing a marathon barely clothed in freezing temperatures,…

Wim is often mentioned in mental coaching, he is the perfect example of what man is really capable of if he has the will to do it ! The core of his method is a breathing technique.

I was sitting on my couch, headphone on and I started to listen to this interview with Wim. Well he was actually guiding a man through a breathing exercice and I decided to give it a try too. I closed my eyes and it felt as if I was sitting there too, almost as if Wim was talking to me.

It was an amazing experience, because the results were almost the same as in this video ! While I am already skillful when it comes to heartcoherence, I had never really tried to hold my breath for that long !

I really love the way Wim explains the process you are going through. He tells you exactely what is happening in a direct and simple way.

His method is scientifically tested and validated and Wim is sharing this with everyone ! You can find his method on his youtube channel where you have access to a bunch of his teaching videos.

Just be sure that you follow his instructions carefully and that when you are doing the breathing exercice you are in a safe place at home, in bed or on a couch. Never do this while you are in bath or in your car ! You could feel too dizzy and lightheaded or even faint !

If you would like to be able to defy the cold temperatures, to boost your immune system, increase your performances and access your own healing powers, I really recommend that you give Wim’s method a try.

And isn’t winter the excellent time to test his method and have that personal experience ? I dare you to give it a try ! Don’t worry I am not going to spare myself from the challenge eighter !

They say curiosity kills the cat. Bullshit !

A cat will always be a cat, wild and free, always desiring to be independent. It’s in its nature !

Curiosity doesn’t kill the cat. Captivity kills curiosity, imprisonment kills the cat !

If you take away a cat’s essence, their spirit gets broken. Just as with people.

There are millions of broken people, experiencing pain because they are going against their grain.

Their light has been dimmed by society. Society shuts down people who are different, who color outside the lines.

At an early age, children get all these labels, ADD or ADHD,…all we are doing is killing their curiosity and creativity !

We all are striving for society’s perfection, we have to perform and show results because only then we feel validated or appreciated !

We let people decide what’s best for us. Maybe your father said : “Why can’t you do something decent with your life like Mary ? Maybe your mom said :” My child, that is absolutely nothing for you, that is way too dangerous, what if…”

What if I constantly tell people “yes”, when I really feel the need to say “no” ?

What if I stay in an unfulfilling job, choosing “security” but I burried my dreams and my heart’s desires ?

What if I stayed in a bad relationship because I told myself I wasn’t worth any better ?

What if I am in pain because society is pushing me in some kind of direction without me being aware of it ? A direction that is not mine…

I would become unrecognazible to myself, a stranger to myself !

What if you feel deep down in your core, that the way the world goes isn’t that natural after all ?

What if you are sane in an insane world and you just keep blaming yourself for not being who you really are ?

Wolf and woman

Don’t you at times want to howl like a wolf under the full moon, eyes shut and head thrown back, pouring your heart out, crying, mourning, letting out all your pain and loneliness ? Expressing yourself loudly and freely ?

Native Americans said that when the wolf howled he created wind. If he continued to howl fog came. They considered the moon its power alley.

Throughout history and culture powerful archetypal women and goddesses were depicted accompagnied by wolves, as it represented freedom, courageousness and fierceness.

Women who trusted their intuition, their inner intelligence were often seen as witches by patriarchal society or portreyed as the seductive ones or the evil ones. Associated with the moon, the wolf became the symbol of darkness, temptation and danger. At a deep level, women still carry the pain of being prosecuted by patriarchy for their innate wisdom and power they were forced to hide.

Learning to howl requires that we tap into the deepest recesses of our soul, and that takes courage because what lies that deep is not always pretty or sweet smelling. Else it might as well be out in the open…
